Lincolnshire X-Factor star Ella Henderson denies dating Paul Gascoigne's son

TETNEY starlet Ella Henderson has denied rumours she is dating Regan Gascoigne.

The 17-year-old and Gazza's son have become very close friends, even holidaying in Spain together.

The pair have known each other since they were 12-years-old after meeting at school.

However, posts made by Regan on Twitter after watching his friend on the X Factor tour have prompted some national press to speculate that the pair may be more than friends.

Regan wrote: 'How stunning did my Ella Henderson looked (sic) tonight. You overwhelm me everytime love you.'

Posing with Ella for a picture in Spain, model Regan - the son of Gazza and his former-wife Sheryl, even referred to her as 'my girl'.

Regan previously told a TV documentary: 'My father is probably going to die soon. I don't want to waste all my tears on him. I feel bad and sorry for him but it's not our fault.'

Gazza was spotted on Saturday with his father John in Gateshead - helping out in the garden, smoking a cigarette.

Ella's spokesperson denied she was in a relationship with Regan saying the pair are close friends - adding the singer wanted to concentrate on her music.

"Ella is in no relationship with anyone she is totally focused on her music career and Regan has been a friend from her school since Ella was 12 yrs old.

"They are like brother and sister. Regan has always enjoyed Ella singing and since Ella left the school she has kept in touch with him because he is a good close friend to her and our family."
