Lincolnshire residents urged to 'be aware' as snow and sleet falls
Weather forecasters have urged people in Lincolnshire to "be aware" as snow and sleet falls across the county.
The Met Office has issued a yellow warning for most of the northern part of the country including Lincolnshire.

This means snow is widespread, lying on roads and pavements and extra care needs to be taken when walking, cycling or driving in affected areas.
The snow is expected to continue falling until around 9pm tonight.

The weather warning is expected to be lifted by tomorrow and for the remainder of the week.
The latest weather forecasts call suggest Friday will be dry with sunny spells, white Saturday will be cloudy with some light drizzle.
Sunday is hoped to be even milder, with more dry and sunny spells.
Temperatures will reach highs of 8°c on Friday and Saturday, while on Sunday they will drop to a high of 6°c.
