Lincolnshire couple who took 250-mile trip to rescue puppy star on ITV's Love of Dogs
A FAMILY from Brothertoft who travelled 250 miles to rescue an unwanted puppy shared their story on primetime TV.
Sean and Trudi Martin have starred on Paul O'Grady's For the Love of Dogs show on ITV 1.

The show follows the story of mongrel, Val, being handed in to Battersea Dog's Home as part of an unwanted litter.
Sean said: "We knew we wanted to get a puppy and decided Battersea would be the ideal place to re-home a dog.

"Staff there emailed us a photo of Val and she looked perfect, so we knew that she was worth the journey."
When Val was taken into the dog's home she was suffering with severe dehydration and needed immediate treatment from the on-site veterinary team.
Viewers of the show will see Val recovering from her initial sickness and finding a home with Sean and Trudi alongside their Wolfhound and Labrador, horses, donkeys, cows, chickens and cats.
Battersea vet Phil Robinson said: "These little youngsters needed lots of care when they first came into the home.
"We did the best that we could do for them but sadly they did succumb to illness while they were here. However we were so pleased to see them all make a full recovery and get back on their paws so they could start new lives with lovers - just like the Martin family."
Thanks to the combined efforts of the home and Val's new owners, Val is fighting fit and enjoying her new family.
Sean added: "We're so pleased with her and she seems to love her new life.
"We've renamed Val as Scooby Doo and she's settled in amazingly well and loves being with all the other animals.
"She is incredibly fast and very energetic.
"She's really livened up the whole house."
