Lincolnshire man Nicholas McGuire jailed for making child porn images available on internet
A man who made hundreds of child porn images available on the internet was today jailed for seven months at Lincoln Crown Court.
Nicholas McGuire's home was raided on June 1, 2011 after discovering material he had made available on the Gigatribe file-sharing website.

Andrew Scott, prosecuting, said chatlogs found on McGuire's laptop included comments that he was rebuilding his stash of porn after losing his images and he said he would be continuing to add images.
A total of 356 indecent images were found on the laptop along with 10 images of extreme pornography.

McGuire,39, of Gloucester Close, Bracebridge Heath, admitted possessing indecent images of children for show, possession of 356 indecent images, eight charges of making indecent images of a child and a further charge of possession of extreme pornography.
He was placed on the sex offenders' register for five years.
Judge Sean Morris told him: "You were quite clearly trading with others in images of very young children being sexually abused by adult men.
"Having lost a lot of your store of images you were building up your library. "These are not victimless crimes. It is people like you who create the market for them.
"An immediate prison sentence is required. It is to send a message that when people touch that button to download they know what they are looking at when they get caught."
Mark Knowles, defending, described McGuire as a "naive" man who recognises he needs help.
"He has had this hanging over him for two years," he said. "He has lost his job and he is at a very low ebb.
"He is of good character and he entered his guilty plea at the earliest opportunity."
