Participants will cycle in 20 minute slots and the group is hoping to complete the challenge in five hours, racking up miles on two bikes between 10am and 3pm.

Alison Hackett, Healthy Schools Coordinator from Branston Community Academy said: "We are a Healthy School and came up with the idea of doing a sponsored cycle ride for ChildLine as it is their 25th anniversary this week."

Aimee Kendall, 16, the school said: "I thought it was good to raise money for the ChildLine because it is based around people our age, so people we could know as well as others around the country."

Pupil, Corinna Kent, 16, said: "I could have a friend who needs help but is too scared to talk so I might not realise it but I'm helping by being here today."

LA Fitness, in Lincoln, provided the two bikes and are supporting the day.
