“I think it is educational in a way, in that we get to see all sorts of medical conditions and their treatments, but what I find most fascinating is all those people who suffer for years with different complaints because they're too embarassed to go to their GP, yet they're quite happy to show their bits off on tv in front of an audience of (potentially), millions”

“Pete67 - I can't see how airing issues so publically can help anyone so must agree with Lincoln_Fan that Channel 4 do this for entertainment not education so it is no better than a contemporary Victorian freak show.”

“You might see some very nasty things on there, but if it helps someone to come to terms with a condition they may have it's worth every minute of airtime. Well done 'Embarrassing Bodies', and any Doctors etc concerned with the making of it.”

“Rather like a 21st century version of the Victorian freak show :/”
