Linkage Community Trust to research adults' mental health needs
Research into the mental health needs of adults with learning disabilities in Lincolnshire is being carried out by the Linkage Community Trust.
The Bridging the Gap project is funded through the Mental Illness Prevention Fund provided by the Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust and Lincolnshire County Council.
Rebecca Millar, Linkage's policy and campaigns officer who is leading the project, said: "We know many adults with learning disabilities are at greater risk than ever before of mental ill-health for a number of different reasons.
"We are looking for stories from adults with learning disabilities, including people with autism, whose mental health is currently being affected or who are at risk of developing mental health problems.
