Linkage Community Trust takes over Wolds Café in Louth
LINKAGE Community Trust has taken over the Wolds Café on the ground floor of the Elizabeth Court social housing complex in Church Street.
The charity, which supports people with learning disabilities, will run the facility to help support its work in the area.

Linkage’s head of employment services James Bird, who is project-managing the new outlet said: “I am pleased to be involved in this new exciting enterprise, which will generate additional income to support the wider work that Linkage carries out.
“The location of the café in Louth has a high footfall, and we are welcoming customers to experience our new menu and take advantage of our convenient takeaway service.”

The café can seat up to 44 diners and will be the third café to be run by Linkage, although Linkage Green at Mablethorpe and Manby Gatehouse are operated as training centres for catering and customer care students.
Group director of development and operations at Waterloo Housing Group Antony Riley said “We already work closely with Linkage on a number of projects and so are delighted that they have taken over the running of the Wolds Cafe.
“This is a great opportunity to strengthen our relationship while providing work opportunities for local people and a convenient and improved food service for our residents and the wider local community.”
The Wolds Café is open from Monday to Saturday, 9am to 3.30pm, and on Sundays 10am-3pm. Further details about the venue and the menu can be viewed at www.linkage.org.uk
