Loose wire causes Lincoln High Street train barriers to remain closed for 45 minutes
The rail barriers on Lincoln High Street have been stuck down for 45 minutes due to a loose wire.
They got stuck just before 10am and were fixed at 10.40am, causing traffic chaos in the area.
Traffic was diverted from the area of High Street and St Mary's Street on March 5.
Network Rail’s mobile team was on site at around 10.45am and able to manually operate the barriers to keep people moving while the repair was done, which was completed around 12.15pm.
There was also damage to the underside of the barrier.
