The martial arts instructor is charged with 11 counts of sexual activity with a female under 16 between July 2010 and November 2011 and two further counts of possession of indecent images of children and causing a child to engage in pornography.
Magistrates declined jurisdiction in the case and sent Beniston, who has not yet entered a plea, for trial at Lincoln Crown Court. He will appear there for a preliminary hearing on September 25 and was remanded on conditional bail until that time.
