Man faces 'lengthy jail sentence' over serious assault in Skegness
A SKEGNESS man faces a lengthy jail sentence after admitting a serious assault.
Adam Aldred, 43, of South Parade, admitted charges of inflicting grievous bodily harm with intent, affray and possession of an offensive weapon.
The charges arose out of an incident in which a 21-year-old man was injured during an incident outside the Stumble Inn during the early hours of October 24.
Judge Michael Heath at Lincoln Crown Court adjourned sentence until December 17 and remanded Aldred into custody saying "He clearly is going to get a substantial sentence."
