Man injured in claw hammer attack in Lincoln
A 21-year-old is in hospital after a claw hammer was embedded in his head in an alleged assault outside Revolution Bar, in Park Street, Lincoln, inthe early hours.
The man was rushed to Lincoln County Hospital with a head injury and transferred to the Royal Hallamshire Hospital, in Sheffield, following the incident at 12.50am on September 1.
Police cordoned off a section of Park Street between just past the bar entrance and the West Parade junction.
A spokesman for Revolution said neither man had been in the bar on Saturday night.
