Man punched as attackers ransack caravan in North Hykeham

A man has been assaulted in his own home in North Hykeham.

The 55-year-old victim answered the door to his caravan, off Chapel Lane, between 7pm and 7.30pm last night and was punched by a man.

He was later treated at hospital for a minor head injury.

It is thought that two men searched the property, but nothing is believed to have been stolen.

One of the men is described as white, around 5ft 7ins tall and skinny. He was wearing dark clothing. There is no description of the other offender.

Police are asking anyone who was in the area of Chapel Lane and this time and saw any suspicious looking people or vehicles to call DC Cath Leeman at Lincoln CID via the non-emergency number 101, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on: 0800 555 111.
