A LOCAL village is set to re-gain its post office services at the end of September.

Martin Post Office closed temporarily in November last year following the resignation of the sub-postmaster and the subsequent loss of premises.

But following the end of a formal period of public consultation, post office services will reopen in new premises at The Royal Oak Public House, in the village High Street.

The new service will be open from Monday to Friday, 9am–1pm, and on Saturdays, 9am–12noon.

The same range of Post Office products and services will be available.

Martin Post Office will open in its new premises on Monday, September 28.
