Marton farmer Dennis Tindale charged with driving his 4 x 4 at a man on his land
A Marton farmer has been remanded in custody after allegedly driving his 4 X 4 at a man on his land and seriously injuring him.
Dennis Tindale, 76, who runs Village Farm, is charged with causing Michael Lewis, 67, grievous bodily harm with intent on June 9.
He also faces a charge from the same date of causing him bodily harm by the wanton or furious driving of a Nissan Terrano.
Mr Lewis suffered multiple fractures it is expected he will be paralysed from the waist down, with some expectation he will be fully paralysed.

Tindale spoke only to confirm his name, age and address at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court this morning.
The bench remanded him in custody to appear at Lincoln Crown Court on June 25.
