Milkshake! team invite little ones out to play
Milkshake! Come Out to Play! the live tour is coming to Lincoln and one lucky reader not only has the chance to win tickets but also meet in person all their favourite characters in our competition below.
Starring presenters from the television show, Jen Pringle and Amy Thompson, Milkshake will visit the Lincoln Performing Arts Centre on February 21.
Little ones will be able to enjoy all the characters they love so much – such as Little Princess and Scruff, Noddy and Tessie Bear, Roary and Big Chris, Fifi and Bumble and B1 & B2 – the Bananas in Pyjamas.
Amy says: "I love being involved in the show, it's a lovely way to see all the Milkshakers that watch us on TV right in front of our eyes joining in with all the routines. It feels like a rock concert and the energy the children give you pushes you that little bit more. It's so exciting and I love every minute of it.

"The show is high energy and so much fun. There's lots of singing, dancing and milkshake fun to be had. It's a very interactive show and we encourage everyone to get up on their feet to boogie with us. There's fun for all the family as the songs are a great mix of traditional nursery rhymes, Milkshake pop and funky disco songs that the adults will recognise."
New songs include Come Out To Play!, Noddy Says and The Roary Cha Cha Cha. There will also be classics to join in with such as Wheels On The Bus.
Jen adds: "We want everyone to get involved, so there's plenty of audience participation.
"We try and get all of the Milkshake characters to Come Out To Play with us, so instead of being on the TV, they join us on the stage. This is brilliant until we hear from the Milkshake News that Milkshake won't be on TV tomorrow unless we get all of our friends back into the TV. Come and see the show to find out if we manage it.
"We sing loads of songs from Milkshake, including songs from Milkshake Bop Box and The Milkshake Show as well as classics that the grown-ups will recognise, and there's some brand new songs in there too. I love being able to see the audience. The people in the theatre auditorium are the people who watch our programme on TV and it's so nice to see their smiling faces.
"When we're in the studio, we only see the camera, so it's lovely to actually meet our viewers. Their faces light up when they see all their favourite characters on stage in front of them – it's a joy to watch."
Show times 1pm and 3.30pm. Tickets: Adults £12 (children £10, family £42 – four people, maximum two adults). Box office: 0844 888 4414, www.lpac.co.uk
