Moore's goal keeps Moorlands in the lead

The league is starting to reach its end with teams looking to clinch the title.

In the Premier League a Stephen Moore goal gave Lincoln Moorlands Railway a tight 1-0 win over Appleby Frodingham.

Bottesford Town had a 5-1 away win at Appleby Frodingham, with goals coming from Lewis Greathead (two), Brad Hewitt, Matthew Kenna and Joe Robb getting the Bottesford Town goals. Ben Gearing got the consolation for Appleby Frodingham.

Lincoln United had a 4-1 home win over Brigg Town. Joe Mattoli, Tom Booth, Charlie Hatt and Jacob Dolan got the Lincoln United goals with Jamie Fussey getting the Brigg Town goal.

Scotter United hit Welton for 10 as James Shuker grabbed a hat-trick. Joe Shipperbottom grabbed a double and the remainder came from Luke Bird, George Cook, Chris Evans, Paul Gascoigne and Matthew Roberts.

A double from Aaron Gregory and a single from Adi Harper gave Manor United a 3-0 win over Nettleham in the Central League.

Waddington United had a 5-0 home win over Greenbank with goals coming from Martin Vance, Adam Webb, Ashley Stephenson, Craig Mitchell and Liam Cundy.

Welton had a 4-1 win over Ruston Sports as Alex Jackson grabbed a hat-trick and the other Welton goal came from Lawrence Marris. Jake Stokes scored the Ruston Sports goal.

HBW United had a good 4-0 win at Woodhall Spa with Scott Knibbs (2), Jamie Beamish and Shaun Hudson netting.

Teams are now looking at what they are to do next season. Applications are now being accepted from under-18 teams entering the Lincolnshire Intermediate Football League. Applications should be sent to the secretary Steve Asher, 35 Sleaford Road, Metheringham, Lincoln, LN4 3DG.
