Moped rider seriously injured in A16 crash
A moped rider has undergone specialist surgery at a regional centre after a crash in Lincolnshire.
The 59-year-old Nottinghamshire man suffered serious injuries in a collision on the A16 near Holton le Clay in the north east of the county last night.
Emergency services were called to the scene at just before 7pm after a collision between a Suzuki 125 moped and a Nissan Pathfinder car.
Lincolnshire Police said this morning that the rider, from Mansfield, was not initially thought to be seriously injured.

He was taken to hospital in Grimsby five miles from the collision.
But he was later found to have serious internal injuries and was transferred to Leeds General Infirmary for specialist surgery.
