Murder investigation as 72-year-old woman dies after assault in Lincoln
An elderly woman has died in hospital after being assaulted and injured at her home in St Botolph's Crescent, Lincoln.
72-year-old, Margaret Lynette Krawcewicz was taken to Lincoln County Hospital after the assault, but died later the same day.

Lincolnshire Police were called to the incident at 6:13am on October 12 and a 38-year-old local man was arrested shortly after.
The man has now been arrested on suspicion of murder and remains in custody.

A Home Office Pathologist will conduct a post-mortem to establish the cause of death, today.
Police are still appealing for information via the 101 non-emergency number or by calling Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
