A free event for anyone involved in music-making with children and young people in Lincolnshire will take place in Lincoln on Thursday, January 17.

Music leaders and teachers, instrumental tutors, community musicians and creative practitioners from around the county are welcome to attend.

Running from 5.30pm to 9pm at the city's soundHOUSE on St Martin's Lane, the soundEMission Road Show is an ideal opportunity to discover the exciting new East Midlands Early Years Network, East Midlands Encouraging Talent and Potential Network and Children in Challenging Circumstances Network and how these will support the work of the Music Education Hub and music provision for local children and young people.

Details of training and networking opportunities created by these new funded programmes will also be given and delegates will be encouraged to take part in interactive CPD workshops and skills-sharing sessions and to find out more about the soundEMission e-resource.
