“Alex - please read my other post (about Baraclough/Gainsborough) for the answer to your question regarding new investment.
Regarding this new group, although I know they are well-meaning, they are totally wasting their time. There have been numerous other fund raising initiatives in the past where the money has not been spent to help the team avoid relegation. I could name many wasted initiatives, but just for one thing, I am very angry at the amount of money I personally spent on tickets for the ground re-naming raffle. Will someone please tell me how much of that money was spent on new players as we were PROMISED by the CEO and the Club.
And what has happened to all the FA Cup run money???!!! Would the board prefer us to spend none of this money, and get relegated?
Surely Lincoln fans are now finally...FINALLY...beginning to wake up to what the Board are doing to our Club. I have been banging on this subject for years, and finally, with the Baraclough/Gainsborough story, people are beginning to see how incompetent the current board are. Surely not long to go now before we have change at the top.”
