PEOPLE in Boston are to benefit from two new Sunday bus services.

Backed by financial support from Lincolnshire County Council and run by Brylaine Travel, the new services will operate between Boston and Lincoln and Boston and Spalding throughout the day-time from November 1.

The Boston and Lincoln buses will call at Pilgrim Hospital, Coningsby, Woodhall Spa and Metheringham while the Boston and Spalding buses will call at Sutterton, Gosberton and Pinchbeck.

Principal transport officer Paul Harvey said: "These new Sunday services will provide improved access for shopping, especially during Christmas and the sales, visiting friends and family and leisure travel.

"They will run for a six month trial period initially and we encourage people to take advantage of them as much as possible to ensure they are able to continue."
