New chairman of Lincolnshire Police and Crime Panel elected
A new chairman has been appointed of the Lincolnshire Police and Crime Panel.
Norman Norris, an independent member of the panel, has been interim chairman since June.
He was elected as permanent chairman at the panel's September meeting.
Mr Norris said: “I am delighted to have been elected to the position of Chairman of the Panel for Lincolnshire at what is an important time for Policing in Lincolnshire.
"I will lead the Panel and ensure we are robust in our scrutiny of the Commissioner as we support him in making Lincolnshire a safer place to live, work and visit.”
Councillor Paul Przyszlak who is a member of the Panel on behalf of South Holland District Council, was elected Vice Chairman.
