New jobs created at new Ribs 'n' Bibs American restaurant in The Strait, Lincoln
Ten jobs have been created at the new Ribs 'n' Bibs American restaurant in The Strait, Lincoln.
The eatery is looking for chefs, front of house staff, cleaners and kitchen porters.

It will serve a variety of authentic American food cooked in smoke ovens imported from the States.
The new business, which opens on Valentine's Day, has created up to five full-time jobs and up to five part-time jobs.

Food will be served at breakfast, lunch times and evenings seven days a week.
There will be room for up to 70 diners.
Ribs 'n' Bibs will be run by Lincoln business partners Adam Morgan and Charles Patrick.
Mr Morgan said: "We came up with the business idea four or five months ago and it was just a case of finding the right venue.
"The property just lends itself to this kind of restaurant.
"Lincoln has not got anything like it.
"I've been in the trade for 20 years and there are a lot of restaurants that try to be too many different things.
"But this if going to be a completely authentic American restaurant."

“Was looking forward to this on saturday lunch time. Unfortunately it was very disappointing, for a start they don't do ribs on the lunchtime menu, so i opted for the big cheese! This was an average cheeseburger. My partner had what amounted to cheese on toast with loads of mayo on it. So poor quality food and to boot it took us an hr to get our food with only 9 other tables occupied!! Won't be going back.”

“Good luck to you guys, if you can beat the poxy sparrows ribs that Damons serves up, then they've got competition and I'll be paying a visit - Food Monster before me or not.
When you pay £18 for a large combo, which i did at Damons, I expect 'a large combo' not an OAP's portion.
So these guys don't have a lot of competition, just need to get it right and could be on to a winner.”
