New signing Adifan Noussoura's hunger for football impresses Imps boss Chris Sutton
LINCOLN CITY manager Chris Sutton paid tribute to Adifane Noussoura's desire after the 18-year-old midfielder won a short-term deal at Sincil Bank.
The midfielder, who hails from the island of Mayotte in the Indian Ocean, impressed the Imps after arriving on trial from a football academy on nearby Reunion Island, run by Sutton's former Celtic team-mate, Didier Agathe.

Noussoura Adifane has signed a short-term deal with Lincoln City.
Noussoura, who is the first player from Mayotte to win a professional deal, will stay with the Imps until December 31.
"Adi is still relatively young in footballing terms but he has got some raw talent and potential," said Sutton.
"Where he is from is quite poor and he is hungry and wants to become a professional footballer.
"He has shown enough to warrant us having a longer look at him and I am hoping he can improve in the next few months.
"If he does well, I will have no qualms about putting him the side."
Noussoura arrived in Lincoln along with compatriots Uldric Samaria and Rémy Lauret, but they returned to the island at the conclusion of their trial spells.
Sutton admitted that the language barrier was a problem for the French-speaking Noussoura but hoped that would improve in the coming weeks.
"The language is a barrier in terms of getting information across but we are hoping to improve that on both sides," said Sutton.
"It is tough but he wants to make the grade and I have been impressed with his attitude as I was with the rest of the boys from Reunion."
Sutton's capture of Noussoura is further evidence of his willingness to give youth a chance at Sincil Bank.
On Tuesday, 17-year-old winger Sam Turner was named as an unused sub for the Imps' 1-0 defeat at Rotherham.
"All I am interested in is developing talent for Lincoln City," said the 37-year old.
"We have had some reasonable boys come through the ranks this year and it is now up to us to get them up to the level where we feel they can develop and Adi is one of those.
"It does not bother me where we find the players from. We want to take players in who will move us forward."
Noussoura is the fifth player from Agathe's academy to join a British club.
He joins Kilmarnock's William Gros and Stirling Albion trio Jerome Heeking, Yohan Mathis and Jeremy Judith.

“I can't believe that you can all get into an argument over a new player. I'm sure Hykeham Imp isn't a Grimsby fan, he knows too much about your team and we got enough to worry about. At least we got to Wembley in the JPT though. I read both sites and we get some Imp fan post on our site when you win (not very often though! lol). It's too early in the season for the doom mongers, so get behind your team!”

“Hey guys - if you have an iPhone or iPod touch why not download the new Football League App for free and follow the Imps more closely. For an additional £4.99 you can access video highlights from our games and take part in prediction comps. Go on - you know you want to.....”

“Hey guys - if you have an iPhone or iPod Touch why not download the new Football League app for free and follow the team of your choice (Imps of course) or upgrade to the premium version for £4.99 and participate in prediction comps and watch highlights videos of this seasons matches - home and away. There is worse things you could do with your time.....”

“It's the season and not the circus that is getting more exciting. If only results could be as reliable and predictable as Hykeham's posts. Going to the Bank can't be good for her/his health.”

“Hykeham Imp (oh why do I bite), I think you'll find we have Clark Keltie and Scotty Kerr and currently Jamie Clapham in the midfield all with experience. Perhaps youht is just what we need in that position. If it were a young defender I'd be inclined to agree with you. Now where did we land on that 'bottom at Christmas' bet I propsed? Or does the Grimsby dole cheque not stretch that far?”
