IT is good news for shoppers in Skegness as a new store opens its doors in The Hildreds Shopping Centre.

Home Bargains, the discount retailer, is situated in part of the old co-op unit and will offer top brands at discount prices.

Operations Director, Joe Morris said: "The store has been very well received by the local community. We have wanted to open a store in Skegness for a long time and it is great to finally be here."

Hildreds Shopping Centre manager, Pete Roffe added: "It is always exciting when a brand new store opens at the Centre, I send a warm welcome to everybody working at Home Bargains and wish them every success for the future."

The store opened its doors to shoppers on July 25. Normal opening hours are 8.30am to 7pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm Saturday, and 10am to 4pm Sunday.
