Nick Wright: Lincoln City fans have not seen the best of me yet
Nick Wright believes Lincoln City fans have not seen the best of him yet.
The striker has just returned to the first-team following a long injury lay-off with a hamstring problem.
He pulled up in the Imps’ 1-0 win over Macclesfield back in August and did not return to the starting line-up until Saturday’s 3-0 victory over Hyde FC.
And he believes the break means he is still some way behind his team-mates.

“There is a lot more to come from me,” said Wright, who will be hoping to be involved as the Imps take on Nuneaton today in the Skrill Premier (3pm).
“I’ve got to get sharp and fit again. I’ve had to start again like it is pre-season, trying to catch everybody up again.
“I’m not as sharp as I want to be. I need the minutes really to get up to it. I’m getting there, but slowly, but I am getting there.”
Wright has had to make do with substitute appearances prior to getting the nod against Hyde.
It has been frustrating for the striker who missed a penalty when he came on as a second-half sub against Southport.
“I had been out for so long so I just wanted to get a goal,” said Wright. “Everyone misses a penalty now and then, it is one of those things. I should have just given the ball to Alan Power.
“Being a striker is mainly down to confidence. Once you are running around scoring goals, it all seems to happen for you. Before that happens, you have to get your head down and work hard.”
