North Hykeham pub revives ale last brewed in 1895
A forgotten ale from 1895 is being brought back to life at a North Hykeham pub.
As part of its quarterly guest ale programme, The Centurion, in Newark Road, will be serving Archer's Old Glory to its thirsty drinkers.

The ale is based on a recently rediscovered recipe which ceased production in 1895. It was brewed for the first time in more than a century just two months ago.
Bill McCamile, manager of The Centurion, said: "We're delighted to be the first national pub group to offer the ale, and would urge anyone looking for an authentic taste of the past to pay us a visit."
