Olympic fun planned for Bracebridge Heath
Detials of events to mark the passage of the Olympic torch through Bracebridge Heath have been confirmed.
Crowds are expected to gather along Sleaford Road, London Road and Canwick Avenue on the afternoon of the June 27 as the torch arrives in the village.
Residents have been preparing for the procession with village tidy-up events over the last two months, and a range of artistic displays to commemorate the occasion are planned.

Following the torch relay procession, a festival will be held in the woodland in the centre of the village, organised by artsNK with local organisations and residents.
The On The Way event takes place between 7pm and 9.30pm.
The Woodland Walk is a stimulating, amusing and entertaining series of creative installations and performances along the woodland track between the War Memorial and the old St John's cemetery.
Community groups and artists have been working with us to create pieces that are inspired by the village and its stories.
The Community Celebration is an opportunity to bring the day to a stimulating end with a mix of entertainment and displays that caters for all ages and tastes.
There is food and displays by local community groups, a climbing wall, skate park, the Mighty Creative Media tent. a mix of dance and music performances culminating with a finale by the festival band – The Brasshoppers.
