Opening of Premier Inn hotel in Broadgate, Lincoln, delayed
The opening of Lincoln's new £6.5 million Premier Inn on Broadgate has been delayed.
The 130-bedroom hotel was originally due to open on Valentine's Day.
But the development hit delays when the hotel's building firm, Speymill Contracts Limited, went into administration.
And now, Premier Inn have confirmed that the hotel will not open as planned as a new contractor has not been appointed to complete the building work.

A Premier Inn spokesperson said: "We are very disappointed that due to circumstances beyond our control we are continuing to wait for our developer, Seven Capital Hotels, to appoint a new contractor to complete the works.
"Therefore, it is with regret that we cannot confirm a completion date at this stage.
"As a result we are ensuring that any customers who have made a booking are contacted and offered a choice to either re-book at another local Premier Inn, honouring the price they originally paid or cancel with a full refund."
