Opposition to homes plan is just ignored
I SPENT quite some time at the public consultation event held at Trinity Centre in respect of the proposed development of 149 houses off Fulmar Drive, and during my visit it was difficult to detect anything other than vehement opposition to it.
However, it appears that Mr Smith from Savills, when addressing the town council, said: "From the completed feedback forms, it is fair to say that most people accepted the proposal in principle."
I really cannot understand what must have happened to make all of those clearly very angry people sit down and write positive things about the prospect of having Louth's drains, schools, hospital, social services, ambulance service, police and numerous other entities stretched further and further to feed the greed of developers.
Hey ho, clearly they did, or Mr Smith would not have said so.
