“That explains Greetwell / Outer Circle road being packed tonight but what happened last night (Wednesday) because it was even worse then.
I wondered if one of the garages were doing their deliveries whilst parked on outer circle rd totally ignoring the fact they are causing massive tailbacks and making it extremely difficult for the emergency services.”

“Why on earth is this an accident blackspot? I travel through this location every day and can see nothing untoward about it whatsoever. The only conflict i can see is if someone pulls out in front of you, but that would result in you running into the back of another car not into the railings.
Is it time to install one of your magic "safety" cameras yet John Siddle? If youd have looked out of your office window you would have witnessed this one John.”

“I was in town when this must have happened. When I crossed Broadgate at the Rumbold Street crossing going into town I was thinking that traffic seemed to be quiet for the time of day. Twenty or so minutes later boy had it changed. I came out of Iceland on the High Street and the traffic there was at a standstill as was St Mary Street. Then when I got to Broadgate nothing seemed to be going anywhere at all. Monks Road was tailed back beyond the arboretum and out of site. I can only guess the hill would have been tailed back onto Wragby Road.
Doesn't this lovely city of ours very quickly choke up!”
