"Akrill then cycled off on the stolen bike while Hardy climbed on to the bike which Akrill had earlier been riding."
The injured man was left on the ground.
He suffered injuries to his knee and hand as well as a cut lip.
When the pair were later arrested Akrill said he was drunk and felt bad about what happened.
Hardy made no comment.
Hardy, 23, of Richardson Rise, Gainsborough, and Akrill, 24, of no fixed address, each admitted robbery on March 1.
They also admitted theft of alcohol from the B & M Bargain store in Gainsborough on the same day.
Catarina Sjolin, for Hardy, said he was genuinely ashamed and sorry for what he did.
She said: "This was not a planned incident.
"It was a spontaneous and opportunistic offence.
"He didn't know the victim and was not aware of his disability."
Michael Cranmer-Brown, for Akrill, said he was plainly drunk at the time the offence occurred.
He said Akrill's mother died during the time he was in custody awaiting sentence which was a traumatic experience for him.

“Do a search on both of these individuals names on this site and you can see what a wholesome pair they are. I am amazed their solicitors can keep a straight face when defending them.”
