Parish Councillors
I recentley went to a parish council meeting in Navenby and i expressed my intrest in becoming a parish councillor i am 27 and they told me that they were two alvaliable seats on the parish council but i have not been contacted!!! I dont know if they havent contacted me due to my age or what.... i just think that parish council need fresh young blood to help with ideas.... is anyone a young parish councillor and if so what should i do about it.

“Have you actually applied in writing? The Parish Council won't contact you unless you do.They will consider a written application at their next meeting and let you know their decision.”
