Patients at Pilgrim Hospital told to attend appointments following fire
Patients due to attend hospital appointments tomorrow at Pilgrim Hospital in Boston are being asked to attend as normal unless they have been told otherwise.
Earlier today United Lincolnshire Hospital Trust said it was cancelling appointments following a fire.
The trust has now issued new guidelines.
A spokesman said: "Following the fire at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston this morning, patients we ask that any patients who have an appointment scheduled for tomorrow (Tuesday, October 22) please attend as normal unless the trust has contacted them otherwise.

"We aim to get our full services up and running again by Wednesday, October 23 at the earliest.
"If you are uncertain or have any concerns, please ring the number supplied on your appointment letter.

Fire and rescue were called to the hospital at about 10.51 this morning.
The fire was in a technical duct.
The cause was a faulty electrical switch.
