Pedestrian hit by car in Grantham left with serious head injuries

A pedestrian has been left with serious head injuries after being involved in a collision with a car in Grantham.

The 69-year-old man was taken to the Queen's Medical Centre in Nottingham, also suffering from internal bleeding, and his condition is described as stable but not critical.

Emergency services were called to the Sandcliffe and Longcliffe Road roundabout in Grantham at around 7.15pm on January 25.

The incident involved a red Vauahall Zafira and police are appealing for witnesses.
