Person killed after being hit by train between Grantham and Newark
A person has been killed after being hit a train between Grantham and Newark.
Services on the East Coast Main Line have been stopped in both directions since the accident was reported earlier this afternoon.

British Transport Police are currently investigating the incident at Peascliffe Tunnel, Belton Lane, near Great Gonerby, which involved the 2pm Kings Cross to Aberdeen service.
Major delays of up to two hours were expected.
