Pet dog taken by van thieves in Market Rasen

A van with a pet dog inside has been stolen in Market Rasen, Lincolnshire.

The incident took place between 8pm and 10pm last night in Willingham Road.

Thieves entered a yard and stole a silver Transit van, registration WGO7 XZO.

The van had a 14-year-old yellow Labrador called Tank in the back. Tank has scars on his face, a callous on his left leg and he walks with a limp.

The owner has had the dog since it was a puppy and his desperate for him to be returned.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area, or who sees this van anywhere, to call them on the non-emergency number 101.

They are also appealing for anyone who sees the dog, or who is offered it for sale, to get in touch.
