Phone and wallet robbery leaves man in hospital

A 27-YEAR-OLD man had to receive hospital treatment following a robbery near Anwick.

The incident took place at Haverholme Park around 11.30pm on September 6.

The local man was allegedly kicked and punched by a group of people who stole his wallet, mobile phone and a set of keys.

The victim was treated in hospital, but has now been discharged.

Five Sleaford men and one Sleaford woman have been arrested on suspicion of robbery in connection with the incident and they are currently on police bail pending further enquiries.

A number of vehicles were seen in the area around the time of the incident.

Police are keen to trace the drivers and passengers as they may have information that could help them with their enquiries. These include:

A silver Vauxhall Astra which was seen with a man and a woman inside at the car park off Park Lane in Haverholme Park at around 10pm

An unknown vehicle which was in the car park at some time between 10.30pm and 11pm

An unknown vehicle was waiting next to a house in Haverholme Park between 10.30pm and 11.30pm

The drivers and any passengers of these vehicles are asked to call Det Sgt Jon Shield, or alternatively contact DC Keith Roberts on 101.
