Photographer's keeping it all beautifully simple
Beautiful Light is the subject matter of an ongoing show by local fine art photographer Jane Wright at Harding House Gallery in Lincoln.
Jane, who works from her top floor home studio in Lincoln, has used familiar and not so familiar viewpoints around the region to compile the collection.
She says: "My singular images are created in many locations, from the nearby Arboretum and the derelict St. John's Hospital, to industrial Sheffield, the coastal villages of Yorkshire, the rugged fells of Cumbria and the desolate beaches of Pembrokeshire."
Abstracts, found items, urban desolation, city details, wild landscapes and the occasional portrait, all are represented in her work.

"The beautiful, often colourful images are the result of my desire to create something striking and evocative from the environment I inhabit," Jane adds.
"A great believer in photographic honesty and keeping things simple, my images remain un-manipulated following capture by the camera."
