Boston United can complete the first phase of what they hope will be treble-winning season tonight, when they visit Grantham Town in the final of the Lincolnshire Senior Shield.

The competition may be at the bottom of the promotion-chasing Pilgrim's list of priorities, but managers Rob Scott and Paul Hurst are intent on claiming county bragging rights at the home of the Gingerbreads.

"At the end of the day the winning team takes a cup home," said a determined Hurst, whose side go into tonight's game on the back of seven straight wins in all competitions, the club's best run of form in 23 years.

"Its doesn't matter what competition we're playing in, we want to win.

"The lads know that and I expect that they want to win. We want to keep that run going and we want the lads to go out with the right attitude.

"Hopefully that will be enough to help us win the cup."

Boston, who are also in the final of the UniBond Challenge Cup, are likely to rest key players tonight, meaning the likes of goalkeeper Aaron Butcher, midfielder Adam Millson and striker Mikel Suarez could play.
