Plans for £3 million marina near Boston approved
PLANS for a £3 million marina on the River Witham off Fenside Road have been approved following a unanimous vote by planners at a recent meeting.
This area of land will be transformed into a 161-berth basin with facilities including a restaurant, shops and workshops once work is completed. This is estimated within eight months.

The plans were approved with 27 conditions in place.
These include the road along the side of the western embankment of the marina shall be used for emergency and maintenance vehicles only.

No river craft shall be used for permanent residential accommodation and the movement of boats by vehicle within the workshop yard area shall only take place between 7.30am and 8.30pm Mondays to Fridays and from 8am and 2pm on Saturdays and at no time during Sundays and bank holidays.
