BOSTON TOWN will make the 270-mile round trip to Bridgnorth Town in the second round proper of the FA Vase after defeating Dunkirk on Saturday.

The 2-1 win, courtesy of an excellent Simon Mowbray brace, ensured Town's safe passage into the next round where they'll face the Shropshire side.

Mowbray opened the scoring after 15 minutes and doubled his tally just before the hour mark.

Kevin Spriggs pulled one back for the hosts, but the Poachers held on to record their first victory in five games.
