Police appeal after series of break-ins

A DVD player was stolen after a window was forced to gain entry to a house.

The break-in was reported at 9pm on Monday to a home in Monks Road in Lincoln. Some damage was caused to the home.

In another break-in, a mobile phone was taken from a home on Turner Avenue in Lincoln.

The incident happened at 5am yesterday.

A bracelet and watch were also taken from a home in Bacon Street in Gainsborough on Monday.

It is not known how the offenders gained access.

And, in Horncastle, a wallet containing various cards, a mobile phone and a candle holder were stolen after another break-in.

The burglary occurred between Tuesday night and yesterday morning.

Police are appealing for any sightings of suspicious activity or individuals in the area overnight.
