“Being ENGLISH I don't have a gas pedal; I have an accelerator pedal.
I agree with eye_eye. I am all for people driving more cautiously in poor weather conditions.
However, some are far too cautious and cause frustration to the following vehicles prompting some people to commit the almost inevitable risky overtaking maneuver, which can (and does) go wrong.”

“Slower in bad weather is better than faster due to better grip and control on the icy surface.
There is no set speed only a safe speed and less power to the gas pedal .
Headlights and not just sidelights should also be used .
Common sense is a wonderfull thing shame people these days dont have any.”

“and there's two types of 'silly speeds' in snowy conditions;
The ones who crawl along at 10mph
The ones who 'fly' along like there is no snow!”
