A WOMAN pronounced dead at the scene of a collision in Scremby has been named.

The 23-year old, Sally Louise Hessey, was from Welton Le Marsh, and was the driver of a blue Vauxhall Astra, which left the road at Bassingham Lane some time between the evening of Monday February and 8.05am the following morning. Itis thought to be the only vehicle involved.

A post mortem examination was carried out yesterday, Wednesday February 3 at Boston Pilgrim Hospital and an inquest into Miss Hessey's death is due to be opened and adjourned by HM Coroner later today.

Police are continuing to appeal for any information regarding the movements of the blue Vauxhall Astra in the Spilsby, Scremby or Welton Le Marsh area any time between the evening of Monday February 1 and 8.05am on Tuesday February 2 when it was discovered. Anyone with information should contact the Witness Hotline on 01522 558855.
