Pong nuisance solution hope
THERE are hopes that there will soon be an end to the pong nuisance that has blighted much of Louth.
In response to questions from ward representative Councillor George Horton, East Lindsey District Council's portfolio holder for the environment Councillor Tony Bridges insisted that a "satisfactory conclusion" was in prospect.
At a full meeting of the authority, he said ELDC's environmental health team had been working "to achieve a resolution" both with residents and the owner of the farm off Legbourne Road, Louth, from which the smell is thought to have emanated.
