"We listened to traders and the public and they said it was a shame the event was split up in previous years. East Lindsey District Council gave us permission last year to do a one year trial at Queen's Park and were quite happy to let us do it again this year.

"The event is something that helps to get a few people in to Mablethorpe. It's also the last sand racing event on the Sunday and we are hoping people will stay over and make a weekend of it. Haven are doing a deal on their caravans as well for that weekend.

"We will have a Punch and Judy show and other bits and pieces for the kids so it helps make it a family day out."

There will be demonstrations throughout the day including displays from freestyle mountain bike stunt team Savage Skills.

In the evening there will be a raffle, with prizes which include a track day voucher for Cadwell Park and two British Super Bikes tickets with full VIP hospitality.

Admission to the motorcycle festival, which runs between 11am and 4pm, is free although there will be donation buckets on the day. The evening event costs £2.50 on the door.

Gary added: "We try to make the event self sustaining so whatever we can raise on the day goes straight into the next year. We will have donation buckets and also a tombola which the Mablethorpe Bikers run."

For more information or if your business would like to offer a prize for the raffle, contact Gary on 07852 300217, or email garybarnes1308@hotmail.co.uk
