Lincoln Crown Court.
Lincoln Crown Court heard prison officers searched Flint's partner after they become suspicious about activity between them.
Edna Leonard, prosecuting, said Flint's boyfriend admitted to possessing the drug, which had a street value of about £15.
But Miss Leonard told the judge: "Inside prison the cannabis would have a much higher value of somewhere between £30 and £75." Flint, 20 of Hickling Court, Mansfield, admitted supplying cannabis and possessing a Class C drug during the visit on April 10.
Passing sentence, Judge Michael Heath told Flint there was no alternative.
He said: "People who take cannabis into prison must go to prison themselves."
