Professor attends immigration talk

A LEADING expert on the impacts of population change is to attend the next meeting in Boston examining issues around immigration.

Professor Gary Craig, whose recent research projects have included the social and economic impacts on communities of refugees and migrants, will attend Boston Borough Council's task and finish population change group on Wednesday June 27.

Open to the public, the meeting starts at 6.30pm at the council offices in West Street and submitted questions for the professor are being encouraged.

Deputy chief executive Phil Drury said: "We are fortunate to have an expert of Professor Craig's standing attending.
